Norwin van Riel is global R&D expert for Trinseo Automotive. His role at Trinseo includes technical account management for key automotive customers and the responsibility for new product developments for the automotive market. Norwin has been within the Trinseo family for 28 years, joining the then newly-formed Dow Automotive business unit in 1992. His previous roles have included multiple technical account management and application development assignments for a broad range of OEMs and Tiers. In addition he has been responsible for the development and implementation of multiple new products, particularly for high quality unpainted interior applications. Norwin graduated with a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Twente and a post-doctorate polymers course from the University of Eindhoven.
